Airlines have in the past done these sorts of events where they issue a call to the public to design a unique livery that reflects not only their home country, but their clientele – aka, you.
Aeromexico is the latest to join this trend, extending an invitation to any and all those willing to partake in a competition to design the logo for the newest member of their fleet – the B787-9. These designs can range anywhere from the zany to the typical. Its up to you how far to take your artistic boundaries, and up to Aeromexico to decide which direction they go.
Regardless of what design they choose, these are exciting times for the airline as they continue to expand further beyond Mexico and begin to tap into markets in the Far East (as shown by their Shanghai and Tokyo routes) and out past Spain in Europe.
The 787-9 is the aircraft to do it with.
